"Jake and the Never Land Pirates" DVD

 I received Jake and the Neverland Pirates: Never Land Rescue DVD in order to facilitate an honest review.

Pirates seem to be a child's go-to pretend play character. From Captain Hook to Jake and the Never Land Pirates, there's always an adventure waiting.

Disney has created an animated series based on Peter Pan. It's an original show that has gained applause for its educational and creative story-lines. Follow a band of young pirates, Jake and his Neverland Pirates Izzy, Cubby and their parrot skully competing against Captain Hook and his sidekick Mr. Smee for treasure. Be mesmerized by their mermaid friend Marina and enjoy the fun characters, including Bucky, their living pirate ship.

In "Jake and the Never Land Pirates: Never Land Rescue," Jake embarks on his most heroic mission ever as the magic of Never Land begins to disappear just as the ancient Forever Tree seems to be fading away.  After a mysterious figure known as "The Guardian" arrives to explain that only the pirate who truly believes in himself can save Never Land from vanishing completely, Jake must break off from the rest of his crew and go alone on a mission to save the Forever Tree, the source of magic throughout all of Never Land.  Guiding Jake on his quest is Tinker Bell, who makes her first-ever appearance in the series.

  Child Locator Alert I've told you my youngest is a Houdini. He has no concept of boundaries, and, more than once, has disappeared sending me into a terror-stricken panic. He thinks it to be a game and his hiding is about the only time he is silent. In April, we were sent a My Precious Kid Child Locator Alert. This adorable Teddy Bear works as a receiver. The Teddy Bear attaches to a shoe, or can be worn as a bracelet. The parent has a transmitter that chirps if your child is beyond the Teddy Bears range of 20-30 feet. It arrived at the perfect time. I was sick, the weather was occasionally nice and Li'l Man was eager to feed his Spring Fever. We experimented with the Teddy Bear and determined it needed to go on his shoe because it was far more difficult for him to remove from here than his wrist.
